The
Museo di Roma - Palazzo Braschi
The Museo di Roma, following a fifteen years closure, finally reopens to the public. The restored Palazzo Braschi will host a temporary exhibition “The Museum tells the City’s story”. The exhibition is devoted to the most significant issues of Rome’s history and culture between 1600 and 1800, shown through a rich selection of 400 pieces, including paintings, sculptures, etchings and photographs, all of which recently restored and belonging to the Museum’s permanent collections. In a balloon over Rome Enjoy a breathtaking view of Rome, 150 metres off the ground and 360°… now it's possible! Part of the Celebrations for the Centennial of Villa Borghese, set up in the Galoppatoio, the balloon anchored to a fixed base, with a diameter of 22 metres and a height of 35, is the largest fixed hot-air balloon in the world.
